Meet the Doctor
Dr. Jed de la Paz
Dr. de la Paz, a graduate of Loma Linda University, considers it a privilege to provide quality dental care to the residents of Pierce County. He has a fantastic staff and is devoted to providing the kindest and most gentle dental care to his patients. One of the things that Dr. de la Paz enjoys doing, is meeting patients who are fearful or have a lot of anxiety about getting dental work done. By explaining each procedure step by step and providing very gentle dental care, it is his goal to help fearful patients overcome their anxiety and eventually enjoy visits to the dentist. Throughout his years of experience, Dr. de la Paz has discovered that people who have not seen a dentist in years, have neglected their teeth, and are often embarrassed to see a dentist. He loves meeting these kinds of patients because he finds joy in helping them feel comfortable, overcoming self-consciousness, and restoring their smile! He highly considers this to be one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry!
One of Dr. de la Paz’s passions is ministry. He has done mission dental clinics to Fuji, Jamaica, Ethiopia, and the Philippines, as well as helping with many local health clinics. He has found that caring for those in need is a tremendous blessing. It is a life changing experience and has helped him become a more loving and compassionate caregiver. He is also active in the local church where he loves to serve and help with music ministry. His other passions include hiking, photography, basketball, traveling, and trying awesome food!
